भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ मजबूत कानून की मांग कर रहे टीम अन्ना के अहम सदस्य अरविंद केजरीवाल ने आज केंद्र सरकार पर जबर्दस्त हमला बोलते हुए कहा कि अगर हमने कुछ गलत किया है तो हमें आम आदमी से दोगुनी सज़ा दी जाए, लेकिन सरकार को लोकपाल कानून लाया जाए और लोकपाल आपको लाना पड़ेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर हमने कुछ गलत किया है तो हमें लटका (फांसी) दो। केजरीवाल के मुताबिक, 'किरण बेदी ने अपराध किया है तो आप उन्हें फांसी दीजिए। जांच कीजिए और सख्त से सख्त सजा दीजिए।'

अरविंद ने टीम अन्ना के सदस्यों के खिलाफ सामने आ रहीं बातों पर कहा, 'हम लोग सिर्फ अन्ना हजारे को सपोर्ट करने के लिए हैं। सारा ध्यान भ्रष्टाचार से हटाकर कोर कमेटी के लोगों पर कर दिया गया है। टीम अन्ना कुछ नहीं है, जो कुछ हैं वह अन्ना हजारे हैं। ये सरकार की जो चालें हैं, सरकार ये समझ ले कि इससे पहले भी उसे नुकसान हो चुका है और हम पर लगाए गए हर आरोप से सरकार के खिलाफ लोगों का गुस्सा और ज्यादा बढ़ेगा। सरकार ने लोगों को हमेशा बरगलाने की कोशिश की। अगली बार जब आंदोलन होगा तो अगस्त से दस गुना बड़ा आंदोलन होगा।'
केजरीवाल ने कहा, 'क्या लोकपाल कानून की मांग करने से पहले एक सौ बीस करोड़ लोगों में जो सबसे ज्यादा साधु संत लोग हैं, वे ही यूपीए के भ्रष्टाचार के बारे में बात करें? क्या किरण बेदी का मुद्दा आम लोगों का मुद्दा है? क्या इससे देश का भला होगा?' मीडिया से मुखातिब अरविंद केजरीवाल ने एक सवाल के जवाब में स्वामी अग्निवेश के तमाम आरोपों को बेबुनियाद करार देते हुए कहा कि आंदोलन में पूरी पारदर्शिता बरती जा रही ही।

किरन के एनजीओ के ट्रस्टी और ट्रैवल एजेंट ने छोड़ा साथ

विवादों में घिरी टीम अन्ना की मेंबर किरन बेदी का साथ उनके ट्रैवल एजेंट ने छोड़ दिया है। उनके गैर सरकारी संगठन ( एनजीओ ) इंडिया विजन फाउंडेशन के एक संस्थापक सदस्य अनिल बल ने यह कहकर इस्तीफा दे दिया कि किरन बेदी के यात्रा विवाद से उनकी इज्जत पर धब्बा लगा है। अनिल ही किरन बेदी की यात्राओं का बंदोबस्त देखते थे।

फ्लाइवेल ट्रैवल्स के मालिक अनिल ने कहा कि किरन बेदी ने अपने कार्यक्रमों के आयोजकों से ज्यादा पैसा वसूलने के आरोप के बचाव में जो तर्क दिए हैं , उनसे यह गलत धारणा बनी है कि इकॉनमी क्लास के टिकट पर यात्रा करके बिजनेस क्लास का किराया वसूलने के विवाद के पीछे मैं ही जिम्मेदार हूं। उन्होंने एक बयान जारी करके कहा कि इस मामले में जो हुआ , उससे मेरी इमेज खराब हुई। इसलिए मैंने आईवीएफ के ट्रस्टी पद से इस्तीफा देने का फैसला किया है। उन्होंने ट्रस्ट से कोई दूसरा ट्रेवल एजेंट नियुक्त करने की गुजारिश की है।

नहीं पता था बेदी की यात्रा का सच :संस्थाएं

पिछले 2 सालों में किरन बेदी की यात्रा का खर्च देने वाले कुछ एनजीओ और संस्थाओं के मुताबिक उन्हें बताया गया था कि किरन बेदी केवल बिजनेस क्लास में सफर करती हैं। इन संस्थाओं को यह जानकारी नहीं थी कि किरन बेदी इकॉनमी क्लास में सफर कर रही हैं और इन्होंने पेश किए गए बिल का पूरा भुगतान किया। इससे पहले किरन बेदी पर जब टिकट से ज्यादा पैसे वसूलने का आरोप लगा था तो किरन बेदी ने कहा था कि उन्होंने पहले ही इस बाबत संस्थाओं को बता दिया है।

मुंबई के श्री महिला गृह उद्योग लिज्जत पापड़ की एडमिनेस्ट्रेटर आइरीन अलमेदा ने कहा, ‘ हमें बताया गया था कि किरन बेदी केवल बिजनेस क्लास में सफर करती हैं। ’ इस संस्था ने किरन बेदी को 6 अगस्त 2009 को एक कार्यक्रम में बुलाया था। किरन बेदी ने ज्यादा वसूली गई रकम वापस करने की बात कही है। इस पर आइरीन ने कहा, ‘ उनकी तरफ से अभी तक किसी ने भी रकम लौटाने के लिए हमसे संपर्क नहीं किया है।

विवादों में घिरी टीमं अन्ना की अहम सदस्य किरन बेदी को बुधवार को एक और करार झटका लगा जब उनके गैर सरकारी संगठन इंडिया विजन फाउंडेशन के एक संस्थापक सदस्य अनिल बल ने उनका साथ छो़ड दिया। अनिल ने यह कहते हुए इस्तीफा दे दिया कि किरन बेदी केयात्रा विवाद से उनकी इ”ात पर धब्बा लगा है।
अनिल ही किरन बेदी की यात्राओं का बंदोबस्त करते थे। फ्लाइवेल ट्रैवल्स के मालिक अनिल ने कहा कि किरन बेदी ने अपने कार्यक्रमों के आयोजनकों से ज्यादा पैसा वसूलने के आरोप के बचाव में जो तर्क दिए हैं, उनसे यह गलत धारणा बनी है कि इकॉनमी क्लास के लिए टिकट पर यात्रा करके बिजनेस क्लास का किराया वसूलने के विवाद के पीछे में ही जिम्मेदार हूं। उन्होंने एक बयान जारी करके कहा कि इस मामले में जो हुआ, उससे मेरी छवि खराब हुई है इसलिए मैंने आईवीएफ के ट्र्स्टी पद से इस्तीफा देने का फैसला किया है। उन्होंने ट्र्स्ट से कोई दूसरा ट्रैवल एजेंट नियुक्त करने का आग्रह किया है।
गौरतलब है कि किरन बेदी पर अपने वीरता पदक के आधार पर हवाई यात्रा में छूट का फायदा उठाकर आयोजकों से बढ़ा-चढ़ाकर पैसा लेने का आरोप लगा है। विवाद बढ़ने पर बेदी ने किराए से अधिक ली गई राशि लौटाने की पेशकश करते हुए कहा है कि अनिल ट्रैवल अकाउंट मैनेज कर रहे थे, उनसे अधिक राशि लौटाने को कहा गया है। अनिल ने कहा कि मीडिया में आई कुछ खबरों में मुझे फाउंडेशन का ट्रेजरर तक बता दिया गया। कुछ चैनलों ने बिल दिखाते हुए दावा किया कि मेरी कंपनी ने जान-बूझकर ज्यादा रकम वाले बिल पेश किए थे। इससे उनकी इमेज खराब हुई है। अनिल 25 सालों से किनर बेदी के संपर्क में हैं और विभिन्न सामाजिक परियोजनाओं में उनके साथ जु़डे रहे हैं। दूसरी तरफ पिछले दो सालों में किरन बेदी की यात्रा का खर्च देने वाले कुछ एनजीओ और संस्थाओं का कहना है कि उन्हें बताया गया था कि किरन बेदी केवल बिजनेस क्लास में ही सफर करती हैं। उन्हें यह जानकारी नहीं थी कि बेदी इकॉनमी क्लास में सफर कर रही है और बिजनेस क्लास बिल पेशकर पूरा भुगतान उठा लिया। इससे पहले किरन बेदी पर जब टिकट से ज्यादा पैसे वसूलने का आरोप लगा था, तो उन्होंने कहा था कि उन्होंने पहले ही इस बाबत संस्थाओं को बता दिया है।

किरण के बचाव में आए अन्‍ना, कहा- साथियों का चरित्र हरण कर रही सरकार

भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों में घिरी टीम अन्ना की प्रमुख सदस्य किरण बेदी अब आयोजकों से वसूला गया अधिक पैसा लौटाने का मन बना रही हैं। पूरे प्रकरण को निपटाने के लिए किरण बेदी अब आयोजकों से वसूला गया अधिक किराया लौटा देंगी।

इसी बीच अन्ना हजारे ने पलटवार करते हुए सोमवार को एक और ब्लॉग में किरण बेदी और अपनी टीम का बचाव किया है। इस ब्लॉग में अन्ना ने कहा किरण बेदी पर हवाई यात्रा में भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप लग रहे हैं। किरण कई बार यह सपष्ट कर चुकी हैं कि यदि उन्होंने इस धन से अपना या अपने परिवार का भला किया हो तो सरकार अपनी किसी भी जांच एजेंसी से उनकी जांच करा सकती है और दोषी सिद्ध होने पर उनके खिलाफ सख्त से सख्त कार्रवाई कर सकती है।
लेकिन ऐसा नहीं लग रहा है कि सरकार ये करेगी। आरोप लगाना और बेईज्जती करना कुछ लोगों का मूल मंत्र बन चुका है। यह पहली बार नहीं है जब किरण बेदी के खिलाफ इस तरह के आरोप लगे हो। गैंग ऑफ फॉर (चार लोगों का गैंग) टीम अन्ना के प्रत्येक सदस्य के चरित्र का हरण कर रहा है। लेकिन ये चार लोग कौन है। ये वहीं हैं जो जनलोकपाल के पक्ष में नहीं है।

गौरतलब है कि किरण बेदी इंडिया विजन फाउंडेशन नाम से एनजीओ चलाती हैं और देश विदेश में कई तरह के समारोह में शामिल होती हैं। बेदी पर आरोप है कि उन्होंने फर्जी बिल लगाकर आयोजकों से गोष्ठियों में शामिल होने के लिए अधिक किराया वसूला।

अब तक अधिक पैसे लेने को जायज ठहराने वाली बेदी ने सोमवार को ट्वीट कर बताया कि एनजीओ के ट्रस्टियों ने उन्‍हें आयोज‍कों के निमंत्रण पत्र में उल्‍लेख किए गए क्‍लास में ही विमान यात्रा करने के लिए कहा है और अब तक कमतर दर्जे में यात्रा कर बचाए गए पैसे लौटाने के भी निर्देश दिए हैं। इस ट्वीट के जवाब में कुछ लोगों ने लिखा कि यह तो एक तरह से गलती मानने जैसा है।

बेदी ने कहा, ‘फाउंडेशन के ट्रस्‍टियों ने एक प्रस्‍ताव पारित कर मुझे निमंत्रण के मुताबिक सफर करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। ऐसे में मेरे पास मनमानी का कोई विकल्‍प नहीं बच पता है। ट्रस्टियों ने ट्रैवल एजेंट को किराए से बची रकम आयोजकों को लौटा देने के भी निर्देश दिए हैं।’

बेदी के एनजीओ में प्रहलाद कक्‍कड़, लवलीन थडानी, आचल पॉल, प्रदीप हलवासिया, अमरजीत सिंह और सुनील नंदा जैसे लोग हैं। लेकिन किरण बेदी की इस पेशकश पर कांग्रेसी नेता दिग्विजय सिंह ने कहा है कि अगर भ्रष्ट लोग अपने पैसे लौटाने लगें तो उन्हें भी माफ कर दिया जाना चाहिए। तो ए. राजा जेल में क्यों हैं? राजा भी पैसे लौटा दें और जेल से बाहर आ जाएं।
आर्थिक अपराधों व आयकर से जुड़े नियम-कानून के जानकार, पूर्व आयकर आयुक्‍त विश्‍व बंधु गुप्‍ता ने कहा है कि इस बात के पुख्‍ता संकेत हैं कि केजरीवाल इंडिया अगेंस्‍ट करप्‍शन (आईएसी) के नाम पर हेराफेरी कर रहे हैं। उन्‍होंने कहा कि इस बारे में कुछ दस्‍तावेज भी उनके हाथ लगे हैं, जिन्‍हें वह शीघ्र ही सार्वजनिक करेंगे।

गुप्‍ता के मुताबिक आईएसी का कोई कानूनी वजूद नहीं है। dainikbhaskar.com से बातचीत में गुप्‍ता ने बताया कि आईएसी की वेबसाइट ( इंडिया अगेंस्‍ट करप्‍शन.ओआरजी) का डोमेन अरविंद केजरीवाल ने 17 नवंबर, 2010 को रजिस्‍टर्ड कराया है। रजिस्‍ट्रेशन के लिए उन्‍होंने 'बी 5, सफदरजंग एनक्‍लेव' का पता और 9999512347 फोन दिया है। पर वेबसाइट पर कहीं भी, किसी भी रूप में पीसीआरएफ (पब्लिक काउज रिसर्च फाउंडेशन), जो केजरीवाल का एनजीओ है, का जिक्र नहीं है। लेकिन आईएसी के नाम पर दान में जुटाई गई रकम पीसीआरएफ के खाते में डाली गई है।

गुप्‍ता का यह भी दावा है कि रामलीला मैदान में अन्‍ना के अनशन के दौरान मिली दान की रकम का पूरा ब्‍यौरा वेबसाइट पर सार्वजनिक नहीं किया गया है। इन आरोपों पर केजरीवाल का पक्ष जानने के लिए उनके मोबाइल पर फोन किया गया, लेकिन फोन कॉल रिसीव नहीं किया गया।

गुप्‍ता ने ट्विटर पर लिखा है, ‘इंडिया अगेंस्‍ट करप्‍शन (आईएसी) में वित्‍तीय गड़बड़ी का सच सामने आने से पहले ही अरविंद केजरीवाल, मनीष सिसौदिया और किरण बेदी को टीम अन्‍ना छोड़ देना चाहिए। इस हेराफेरी में केजरीवाल और सिसौदिया सहित तीन लोग शामिल हैं। तीसरे शख्‍स का नाम आईएसी की वेबसाइट पर अन्‍ना हजारे की कोर टीम में नहीं दिखाया गया है।’

पूर्व नौकरशाह ने आगे लिखा है, ‘केजरीवाल और सिसौदिया भोले-भाले लोगों को मूर्ख बना सकते हैं लेकिन हम जैसे लोगों को नहीं, जो आर्थिक अपराध साबित करने में पारंगत हैं। मेरे पास 20 दस्‍तावेज हैं और मैं इन्‍हें सार्वजनिक कर सकता हूं कि किस तरह हेराफेरी हुई है। मैं दस्‍तावेजों के बिना नहीं बोलता हूं।’

Anna Hazare had to struggle for 11 years continuously against government for giving rights to citizens by making legislations for Right to Information, More Rights for the Gram Sabha, Regulating Transfers of the Government Officers, Prohibition and against Red Tapism.

After the ShivSena – BJP government came in power on March 11, 1995; Anna Hazare started communicating with the government for taking steps to curb corruption. He wrote to the government 15 times and had meetings with it.
He sent a letter to the government on January 12, 1998 asking it to make an act for Right to Information for checking corruption.
As government was not paying any heed to his demand even after writing many letters and discussions, he started dharna on April 6, 1995 at the Azad Maidan, Mumbai.
He again wrote to the government 10 times between April 6, 1998 and August 2, 1999 asking it to make the Act for Right to Information. In the mean time, Congress – NCP government came in power.
He communicated with the newly formed government 5 times pressing it to make the Act. As it failed to do this, he wrote to the govt. on April 6, 2000 warning it that a statewide dharna agitation in front of Collector Offices would be started from 1st may and he would go on fast from 20th May, 2000.

As per schedule, the dharna agitation started in front of all Collector Offices all over the state on 2nd May. The fast was postponed as the Central Government passed a bill in Lok Sabha on Information Technology.

Continued communication with the govt. Wrote 14 times and had meetings with the govt. One year lapsed.

On 1st March 2001, wrote to the govt. that he would start statewide maun andolan from 1st May if the govt. did not make the legislation. The Chief Minister held a meeting with other concerned ministers and Secretaries and made a promise that the govt. will pass the bill in the coming session.

After the promise from the Chief Minister, 81 days lapsed. Anna’s correspondence with the govt. was continued. He wrote again on 1st March 2001 telling that he would undertake maun on 9th August 2001 at his native village Ralegan Siddhi.

As per his warning, he started maun agitation on 9th August. On the same day, people started agitation all over Maharashtra.

After 4 days of maun, the Minister of Law and Justice Mr. Vilas Kaka Undalkar visited Ralegan Siddhi to discuss with Anna Hazare. He facilitated a telephonic discussion with the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary of Maharashtra. After promise from them, Anna stopped his maun.

After the lapse of 1 year and a month and writing more than 15 letters, the govt. was not taking any action. So Anna started maun again on 21st Sept. 2002. After 5 days, four Ministers of the maharashtra Govt., viz. Mr. Dilip Valse Patil, Shivajirao Kardile, Shivajirao Moghe and R. R. Patil came to Ralegan Siddhi for discussions with Anna Hazare. After getting a written assurance from the Chief Minister and Chief secretary, Anna stopped his agitation.

A meeting between Anna Hazare and the govt. was held on 30th October 2002 at Mumbai where the Chief Minister, the Chief secretary, other ministers and senior officers participated in the meeting on behalf of the govt. Again a promise was made.

But as the govt. was not kepi ng its promise, Anna again warned on 21st January that he would undertake agitation on 20th February at Mumbai.

In the mean time, the Chief minister of Maharashtra got changed. The new CM Mr. Sushilkumar Shinde informed Anna Hazare that a solution would be found within a timeframe after a meeting with Ministers and Senior Officers. So Anna postponed his agitation.

A high level meeting was held at the Secretariat in Mumbai on 17th February and the CM promised that appropriate action would be taken.

After the failure of the govt. to keep its words, Anna again warned the govt. of agitation from August 9, 2003 at Mumbai.

Anna finally went on fast on 9th August 2003 at the Azad Maidan in Mumbai. Thousands of people from all over Maharashtra gathered at the site of fast in support of his agitation. At the same time, people also protested at Collector Offices at all district headquarters. All this mounted tremendous pressure on the govt. There was a threat of govt. collapse if the Act was not passed. Finaly, the President of India signed the Bill on 12th day of Anna’s fast and declared that the Act would be effective from 2002. Anna ended his fast at the hands of a noted Social Worker Mr. Tukaramdada Gitacharya.

The Right to Information Act came into effect in Maharashtra from 2002. With Anna’s persuasion, the same Act came into effect for the whole nation.

Likewise, the Acts for more rights to the Gram Sabha and against Red Tapism were passed by the government

भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ अन्ना हजारे के आंदोलन के खत्म होने के बाद विवादों का जो सिलसिला शुरू हुआ है वो अब अपने चरम पर पहुंच गया है.

टीम अन्ना के सदस्य रहे स्वामी अग्निवेश का दावा है कि अन्ना के आंदोलन और इंडियन अगेंस्ट करप्शन के नाम जो चंदा मिल रहा था वो अरविंद केजरीवाल के एनजीओ पब्लिक कॉज़ रिसर्च फाउंडेशन के अकाउंट में जमा किया गया.

इस संस्था में अन्ना हजारे की कोई हैसियत नहीं है. कांग्रेस ने इस खुलासे के बाद जांच की मांग कर दी है.

स्वामी अग्निवेश ने जो दावे किए हैं उसको न तो गलत ठहरा पा रही है टीम अन्ना, न झुठला पाई है टीम अन्ना. स्वामी अग्निवेश ने जो दावे किए हैं उसके बारे में कभी टीम अन्ना ने खुलासा नहीं किया था.

स्वामी अग्निवेश ने दावा किया है कि अन्ना हजारे के अनशन के दौरान इंडिया अगेंस्ट करप्शन ने जो चंदे जमा किए थे, वो न तो अन्ना हजारे के खाते में जमा हुए, न इंडिया अगेंस्ट करप्शन के खाते में. 80 लाख के चंदे की रकम पीसीआरएफ नामक एनजीओ के खाते में जमा हुई.

पीसीआरएफ एनजीओ मुख्य रुप से अरविंद केजरीवाल ने 2006 में शुरू किया था. मनीष सिसोदिया और अभिनंदन सेखरी इसके ट्रस्टी हैं

अन्ना हजारे पीसीआरएफ में कुछ भी नहीं हैं. न संस्थापक, न सदस्य, न ट्रस्टी. फिर भी अन्ना के आंदोलन के नाम पर जमा हुई रकम पीसीआरएफ के अकांउट में जमा हुई.

अग्निवेश का दावा

अग्निवेश का दावा है कि अन्ना हजारे ने भी इस पर एतराज जताया था. फिर भी पैसे पीसीआरएफ के अकाउंट में ही जमा होते रहे.

स्वामी अग्निवेश ये तो नहीं कर रहे हैं कि आंदोलन का मिला किसी ने हड़प लिया लेकिन उन्होंने टीम अन्ना में पारदर्शिता को लेकर सवाल जरूर खड़े कर दिए हैं.

स्वामी अग्निवेश के इतने गंभीर आरोपों पर जवाब देने के लिए न तो अन्ना हजारे सामने आए. न अरविंद केजरीवाल बोले. न किरन बेदी या प्रशांत भूषण-शांति भूषण ने कुछ कहा. मीडिया को जवाब देने का जिम्मा संभाला टीम अन्ना की तीसरी पंक्ति के मनीष सिसोदिया और कुमार विश्वास ने. दावा किया कि लोगों को जानकारी थी कि चंदा पीसीआरएफ के अकाउंट में जमा किया जा रहा है.

टीम अन्ना की विश्वसनीयता पर टीम के ही पूर्व सदस्य ने सवाल उठाए तो कांग्रेस को भी बोलने का मौका मिल गया. कांग्रेस ने मांग कर दी है कि सरकार को इसकी जांच करनी चाहिए.

कांग्रेस सत्यब्रत चतुर्वेदी का कहना है कि जिस तरह से आरोप लगाए गए हैं उससे संदेह होता है और मामले की जांच होनी चाहिए.

बीजेपी ने बिना किसी जांच के टीम अन्ना को क्लीनचिट दे दी. बीजेपी ने तो अग्निवेश पर ही सवाल उठा दिए.

बीजेपी के नेता शाहनवाज हुसैन ने कहा कि अग्निवेश कांग्रेस के इशारे पर काम कर रहे हैं.

सवाल ये है कि क्या इतने बड़े आरोप के बाद भी अन्ना हजारे मौन रहेंगे? क्या केजरीवाल देश को जवाब देंगे कि अन्ना के आंदोलन के नाम पर जमा हुआ पैसे ऐसे किसी ट्रस्ट में कैसे जमा हुआ जिसमें अन्ना हजारे की कोई हैसियत नहीं हैं

अभी हल ही में प्रधानमंत्री जी कहा कि में अन्ना जी का समर्थन करता हूँ और एक मजबूत लोक पाल बिल लाने के लिए हम तयार हैं |

राईट टू रिजेक्ट ( इलेक्सन व्यवस्था में सुधार लाने के लिए ) का सुझाव भी अच्छा है और इसके लिए अन्य दलों से बात करते हुए, इसको इम्प्लीमेंट करने का प्रयास किया जायेगा

प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह ने गांधीवादी अन्ना हज़ारे से वादा किया है कि उनकी सरकार एक सशक्त लोकपाल कानून बनाने के लिये प्रतिबद्ध है और निकट भविष्य में ऐसा कर लिया जायेगा.

मनमोहन सिंह ने हज़ारे के 21 सितंबर के पत्र के जवाब में उन्हें खत भेजकर कहा, ‘जैसा कि आप जानते हैं, हम एक सशक्त लोकपाल कानून बनाने के लिये प्रतिबद्ध हैं और हमें उम्मीद हैं कि निकट भविष्य में हम इसमें सफल हो जायेंगे.’
प्रधानमंत्री ने जनलोकपाल के लिये आंदोलन चला रहे सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता से कहा कि इसके अलावा सरकार भ्रष्टाचार से लड़ने और शासन में सुधार लाने के लिये एक व्यापक एजेंडे पर भी काम कर रही है.
मनमोहन सिंह ने हज़ारे को बताया कि इसमें कई कानूनी, कार्यकारी और तकनीकी पहल को शामिल किया जायेगा. प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा, ‘लोकपाल की स्थापना इस व्यापक एजेंडे का ही एक हिस्सा है.
ग्राम सभाओं को सशक्त बनाने के हज़ारे के सुझाव पर सिंह ने अपने जवाबी खत में कहा, ‘इस बारे में मैं आपसे पूरी तरह सहमत हूं. हम संविधान के 73वें और 74वें संशोधनों के कार्यान्वयन को आगे ले जाने के लिये प्रतिबद्ध हैं. हमारा लगातार यही प्रयास है कि हम ग्राम सभाओं को सही मायने में अधिकार संपन्न बनाने के सपने को पूरा करने के लिये राज्यों के साथ मिलकर काम करें.’

Thank you for your letter dated September 21, 2011. I am glad you made me aware of your thoughts on several important issues.
As you know, we are committed to an effective Lokpal law and we hope to succeed in it in near future. Our government is also working on a comprehensive agenda to eradicate corruption and improve the governance. Several legal, executive and technical aspects would be included in it. The establishment of Lokpal is a part of this comprehensive agenda itself.
Our government is also considering several recommendations concerning electoral reforms. Among the recommendations that are being considered, you have talked about the Right to Recall. In a democratic society, getting political consensus on some issues is a must. We want to discuss several recommendations concerning electoral reforms with other political parties and act on the ones that are broadly agreed upon.
I completely agree with you on the issue of empowering the Gram Sabha. We are committed to implement the 73rd and 74th amendment of the constitution. We are constantly striving to work along with state governments to fulfill the dream of empowering the Gram Sabhas in the real sense.

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Tuesday wrote an open letter to the anti-corruption movement and Jan Lokpal Bill leader Anna Hazare, saying that he was being misled by the opposition party, BJP, with the promise of making him the President of India.

"You have never raised your voice against the BJP," Singh, who has been a vocal critic of Team Anna, said and asked why he was "silent" on the issue of corruption when the BJP-led NDA was in power.

In his letter, Digvijay Singh told Anna that his image was being "milked by people around him to further their interests and anti-Congress ideology."

"Be it Shanti Bhushan or his son Prashant or your colleague Arvind Kejriwal. All these people have been opposed to the Congress. These people are taking benefit of your clean character for their own political gains," he said attacking Team Anna members

Digvijay Singh is very famous for giving useless speech and people are fed up. Congress is in power since 1947 and congress has misled the people and always was shedding crocodile tears for poor whereas the share of poor has been deposited by the very senior congress leaders in Swiss Bank. Diggi Raja where were you when Anna was arrested from his residence and the home minister was not aware of his where about. What have you told when Baba Ram Deo's supporters were attacked in mid night and one lady died in hospital. Your party is in favour of strong lok pal bill but let see the winter session. Anna is right and he has encouraged us and awakened from slumber. Till now the name of even single person whose black money is kept in swiss bank is not declared. What action has been taken against Sheila Dixit who is involved in CWG scam as per the CAG report. Congress party always set up a commission but did not agree with findings where congress corrupt leaders are involved. Please do not guide Anna but guide your corrupt leaders to be an honest.

Anna Hazare is social worker hence he had dedicated workers in his team. The culture of keeping "Chamacha" is necessary for political parties. He has many "chamachas" for him and he is himself "chamacha" for high command.

5.TO SOME EXTENT diggi raja sounds logical. its for ANNA to see what benefits his larger goals. his purity of purpose, was what people liked most and supported, if that gets coloured , it will be ANNA biggest looser, not to say COUNTRY will loose a good cause and chance to purify its PUBLIC LIFE. ANNA baba carefully take steps forward, DONT EVER TAKE PEOPLE SUPPORT FOR GRANTED, this mistake has costed MANY in the past

India Against Corruption - Team Anna

Annaji -
"The dream of India as a strong nation will not be realised without self-reliant, self-sufficient villages, this can be achieved only through social commitment & involvement of the common man."

Anna Hazare had to struggle for 11 years continuously against government for giving rights to citizens by making legislations for Right to Information, More Rights for the Gram Sabha, Regulating Transfers of the Government Officers, Prohibition and against Red Tapism.

After the ShivSena – BJP government came in power on March 11, 1995; Anna Hazare started communicating with the government for taking steps to curb corruption. He wrote to the government 15 times and had meetings with it.
He sent a letter to the government on January 12, 1998 asking it to make an act for Right to Information for checking corruption.
As government was not paying any heed to his demand even after writing many letters and discussions, he started dharna on April 6, 1995 at the Azad Maidan, Mumbai.
He again wrote to the government 10 times between April 6, 1998 and August 2, 1999 asking it to make the Act for Right to Information. In the mean time, Congress – NCP government came in power.
He communicated with the newly formed government 5 times pressing it to make the Act. As it failed to do this, he wrote to the govt. on April 6, 2000 warning it that a statewide dharna agitation in front of Collector Offices would be started from 1st may and he would go on fast from 20th May, 2000.

Continued communication with the govt. Wrote 14 times and had meetings with the govt. One year lapsed.

As per his warning, he started maun agitation on 9th August. On the same day, people started agitation all over Maharashtra.

A meeting between Anna Hazare and the govt. was held on 30th October 2002 at Mumbai where the Chief Minister, the Chief secretary, other ministers and senior officers participated in the meeting on behalf of the govt. Again a promise was made.
But as the govt. was not kepi ng its promise, Anna again warned on 21st January that he would undertake agitation on 20th February at Mumbai.
In the mean time, the Chief minister of Maharashtra got changed. The new CM Mr. Sushilkumar Shinde informed Anna Hazare that a solution would be found within a timeframe after a meeting with Ministers and Senior Officers. So Anna postponed his agitation.
A high level meeting was held at the Secretariat in Mumbai on 17th February and the CM promised that appropriate action would be taken.
After the failure of the govt. to keep its words, Anna again warned the govt. of agitation from August 9, 2003 at Mumbai.
Anna finally went on fast on 9th August 2003 at the Azad Maidan in Mumbai. Thousands of people from all over Maharashtra gathered at the site of fast in support of his agitation. At the same time, people also protested at Collector Offices at all district headquarters. All this mounted tremendous pressure on the govt. There was a threat of govt. collapse if the Act was not passed. Finaly, the President of India signed the Bill on 12th day of Anna’s fast and declared that the Act would be effective from 2002. Anna ended his fast at the hands of a noted Social Worker Mr. Tukaramdada Gitacharya.
The Right to Information Act came into effect in Maharashtra from 2002. With Anna’s persuasion, the same Act came into effect for the whole nation.
Likewise, the Acts for more rights to the Gram Sabha and against Red Tapism were passed by the government.
